Mar00n is a cyberpunk / digital horror art project created by V Tracer — told across multiple websites, platforms, and formats. It is a fictional universe, a critique, and a love letter to the open web, tech, and computing. No matter how bad it has gotten.
Each site serves a distinct role in the narrative. Together they form something larger than any single domain could hold.
V Tracer's sovereign home base. Terminal, transmissions, and community hub. This is where the resistance lives.
The corporate facade. Elias Reiss and New Life Technologies sell perpetuity while consolidating power. A critique of the commodification of human experience, corporate power, and the loss of individual agency.
The compiled novel series. The story starts with Sarah Walker and Marcus Wei, transcribed by V Tracer. This is the heart of the project.
The federated grid. Decentralized community space. Lemmy-powered. More to come.
This project is built with a mix of old-web and modern tools. Transparency matters, so here's what's in the stack:
The open web is being walled off. Platforms decide what you see, what you think, and who you are. Algorithms optimize for engagement, not truth. Social media companies own the entire public square.
So this is my refusal. One of Many. Mar00n is art that lives on its own domains, on its own terms. It uses federation instead of centralization. It tells a story about corporate control while actively resisting it in its own architecture.
This is V Tracer's terminal. My home base. A sovereign node in a network that can't be bought, silenced, or platformed into irrelevance.
This project runs on caffeine, and human labor. Help keep it alive: ko-fi.com/vtracer
